This is just a test. Well, I really did eat this this morning. It's not much but I have been eating less these days with portion control. It really helps, too (with a boost of stress). I've lost a lot of weight. I really don't have to unbutton my pants to pull them up. Now, I need to work on toning the body and ridding it of the midriff nightmare. Oh, and pump up the butt with some butt-booster exercises.
My breakfast was good and I enjoyed the part I did get a chance to eat. Chenii ate most of it. I finished the mushrooms.
I used my bestestest ever sausages ever. I loved them when I lived in Mobile, AL (along with my most favorite hot sausages, Hall's). Now that I live in The Palmetto State, I can not find these things NO WHERE! So now, when we take a trip to Mobile we stop at the Conecuh Factory and load up on these bad boys. Or we just grab some up from the meat market in Mobile.
Bestestest Ever!
Conecuh Sausage with Sautéed Vegetables
Ingredients:
Conecuh Sausage (I used that first strip closest to you in the photo above.)
1/2 Tsp of Oil
1/4 Medium Onion
7 oz of Fresh or Can Mushrooms
1. Slice your sausages and put into the oven to bake. I used the ever-so-need-to-cleaned toaster oven. I cut my hands every time I try to clean it so it stays as is until it falls dead. I put mine on 375. I don’t know for how long because I usually just wait until it beeps because I like my meat almost burnt. Almost.
2. While the meat is cooking, use 1 Tsp of oil in a frying pan and sauté the mushrooms and onions. You can use Olive Oil, Vegetable Oil, Peanut Oil, or even butter. Whatever that suits you. I used Blue Bonnet. Not my regular. I sent my husband to the store and Blue Bonnet is what came home with him. I love Parkay if you just wanted to know.
3. Last put you meat on the plate, then the veggies. Or the veggies then the meat. It depends on you. For me, it just so happened to be veggies on top. Since this was a rush meal and I had to go (Taking photos and cooking took some skill). This is what it looked like on the bare plate. Not much but hey this is only my test.
There is meat under the veggies. I left some out so you can see them.
Next meal? Well it depends on many factors. Maybe tomorrow’s lunch for me and the kiddo. But until then, cheers.
